Terms of Use
These Terms explain the rules for using BigEffort and the responsibilities that come with your account.
1. Accepting these Terms
By creating or using a BigEffort account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account.
2. Age requirement
You must be at least 15 years old to register for BigEffort. Registration by anyone under 15 is not permitted, and BigEffort does not offer a parental-consent registration process in this version.
3. Your account and username
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password and activity under your account. Usernames are reserved on a first-available basis, stored in canonical lowercase and cannot currently be changed or transferred. A reserved username does not create ownership of the BigEffort brand or any third-party rights.
4. Acceptable use
Use BigEffort lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload harmful material, impersonate others, abuse availability checks or use the service to infringe another person's rights.
5. The free core and service availability
BigEffort's core workout tools are offered under the Free workouts for LIFE. promise. This means the intended core offering remains free while that offering is operated; it is not a guarantee that the service will exist forever or for any person's biological lifetime. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued. Reasonable notice will be provided where practical.
6. Workouts, fitness and health
BigEffort provides general fitness information and tools for planning workouts, logging training, referring to exercises and tracking progress. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Exercise involves inherent risks. Consider your health, experience, capabilities, limitations, equipment and surroundings; stop if something feels wrong; and seek appropriate medical or professional advice before or during exercise when needed. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to exercise and for the information you enter.
7. Your content and sharing
You remain responsible for workouts, custom exercises, Notes, measurements, feature requests and other information you provide. You give BigEffort.app only the limited permission needed to store, process and present that content to operate the service.
Sharing occurs only when you initiate it. Private workout Notes are excluded from share cards. Workout lifting weights and Weight Progress values follow the privacy preferences you choose.
8. Intellectual property
BigEffort's software, branding and original service content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
9. Suspension and termination
Accounts may be restricted or closed for serious or repeated misuse, security risk or legal necessity. Account closure, deletion requests and any applicable data obligations will be handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Disclaimers and applicable rights
BigEffort aims to provide the service with reasonable care, but cannot promise uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available operation. To the extent permitted by law, BigEffort is not responsible for indirect loss caused by use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Governing position and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory law that also applies. BigEffort.app is operated under the FORD FAMILY GROUP trading identity.

12. Changes
Material changes will use a new Terms version and may require fresh acceptance. The current version is shown at the top of this page.
